Waiting Room Construction
Scope of Work
PT Bumitama Persada Setia has been entrusted as the main contractor for the Passenger Waiting Room Construction Project at Tenau Port, Kupang. This project aims to modernize public infrastructure to deliver a transit space that is representative, safe, cool, and disability-friendly. Through this development, the port's capacity will increase significantly to ensure optimal comfort for both domestic and international passengers.
In the initial phase, PT Bumitama Persada Setia holds full responsibility for preparatory works and structural construction. This scope of work encompasses land clearing, site layout layout layout (bouwplank) and coordinate measurements, as well as ground excavation for the foundation. Our team then proceeded with the casting of reinforced concrete components—ranging from grade beams (sloof) and main columns to tie beams—concluding with structural assembly and roof covering.
The final phase focuses on architectural finishing and Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) installations. The works include wall installation, granite flooring, corrosion-resistant frames, and painting, as well as the installation of air conditioning (AC), electrical systems, CCTV, and fire suppression systems. To complete the project, we are also constructing supporting facilities such as ticket counters, waiting seats, tactile guiding blocks for the disabled, and a pedestrian walkway leading to the pier
